The LHCb Industrial Awards recognize an exceptional collaboration between the LHCb collaboration and industry.
In particular, companies which have been exemplary at all levels under the following criteria:
                    o    Not an off-the-shelve item 
                    o    Explored novel technologies
                    o    Demonstrated excellence
                    o    Engagement and special effort in collaboration with LHCb
                    o    Kept within budget








The 2023 LHCb Industry Awards took place on June 09th 2023 at CERN. The committee comprised Themis Bowcock, Clara Gaspar, Rolf Lindner (Technical Coordinator and Chair), Chris Parkes (spokesperson), Pascal Perret and Barbara Sciascia.

- AADCO - Aachen, Germany: In recognition of an outstanding collaboration and the successful production of the carbon fiber reinforced honey-comb panels for the Scintillating Fiber Tracker of the LHCb Detector.





The 2019 LHCb Industry Awards took place on December 4th 2019 at CERN. The committee comprised Rolf Lindner (Technical Coordinator and Chair), Niko Neufeld, Marina Artuso, Paula Collins, Neville Harnew and Giovanni Passaleva spokesperson.

- 3D Systems - Leuven, Belgium : In recognition of an outstanding performance and the excellent collaboration in the production of the thin 3d-printed titanium bars with embedded cooling channels for the SciFi Tracker of the LHCb Detector.

- LETI - Grenoble, France.

-Automation NV - Halle, Belgium : In recognition of the outstanding collaboration and the successful design, construction and installation of the new LHCb Data Centre.

- SOMACIS - Aubagne, France :
In recognition of outstanding collaboration and for the successful production of the printed circuit board for the readout modules of the LHCb Detector.

- ADVACAM - Espoo, Finland : In recognition of the excellent collaboration and development of a novel thinned ASIC bump bonding technique for the Upgrade of the Vertex Locator of the LHCb Detector.

- KURARAY CO., LTD - Osaka, Japan :
In recognition of the excellent collaboration and the successful production of Scintillating Fibres for the SciFi Tracker of the LHCb Detector.

- EUROPRACTICE imec - Leuven, Belgium :
In recognition of the excellent collaboration and the successful realization of the CLARO ASIC for the RICH upgrade of the LHCb Detector.

- EUROPRACTICE STFC RAL - Swindon, UK :
In recognition of the excellent collaboration and the successful realization of the CLARO ASIC for the RICH upgrade of the LHCb Detector.

- EUROPRACTICE Fraunhofer IIS - Erlangen, Germany :
In recognition of the excellent collaboration and the successful realization of the CLARO ASIC for the RICH upgrade of the LHCb Detector.
