Summary of SICB meeting on 3 May 2000

• SICBMC status. Version 232 used for LHCC presentation production.
• SICBDST status. Version 233 used for LHCC presentation production.
• Problems:

1. DST -> DST prodcution crashes in digitization step. (References in banks are difficult to drop).
2. L0 pileup veto not working in split versions.
3. Incorrect tracking on NT cluster: wrong momentum reconstruction.

These problems are to be solved by:

Version SICBDST 234 will contain latest RICH geometry and reconstruction, provided by Guy Wilkinson.

• CPU time during generation. Paolo will study the possibility of forcing b -> Bd, Bs, Lambdab fragmentation. The correction will be done in the PYKFDI.F routine and tested before SICBMC v233. Use of parity conjugation will also be investigated. No charge conjugation or Bd and Bs sample production is envisaged for the moment.
• Discussion about version numbers. General confusion about very similar version numbers of SICBMC and SICBDST is present. Documentation on the correlation between SICBMC and SICBDST versions will be provided on the Web. Proposal to unify SICBDST and SICBMC version numbers was rejected.
• Discussion about bookkeeping database. A general feeling of a need of clarification of the status of the bookkeeping project was expressed and a mail to be sent to Pere Mato about the organization of a meeting was suggested.
