LHCb search for time-integrated CP-violation in Dº→K^-K⁺,π^-π⁺ $D^0 \to K^+K^-, \pi^+\pi^-$ decays

LHCb has measured, $Δ A_{CP}$ _{$\Delta A_CP$}, the difference between the time-integrated CP asymmetries in the decays and $D^0 \to \pi^+\pi^-$ and obtained a preliminary result of $\Delta A_CP$ = -0.82 $\pm$ 0.21 (stat) $\pm$ 0.11 (syst) %. This is the most precise search for CP violation in singly Cabibbo suppressed charm decays, and is the first evidence of CP violation in the charm system
