Dear Colleagues, Plese note that we agreed in the plenary meeting on 4
December to use the following luminosities for the Technical Proposal:
L(average) = 2*10**32 cm**-2 s**-1 L(max) = 5*10**32 cm**-2 s**-1 (sigma(min.
bias) = 80 mb, sigma(bb)= 500 microb) where L(max) is understood that the
luminosity that the detector and DAQ can handle for some period, but not
necessarily as a routinely continuous data taking. It was felt that such a
demand will increase the cost of the detector which is already high to even
higher.
