Physics meeting 15/12/97, Tatsuya Nakada

Momentum measurment of electron. Current treatment in the Kalman filter is not quite satisfactory. Ivan will make a routine which include e-cal information.

Still unsolved problems in the simulation 1) vertex primary vertex resolution V_z = ~70 micron, including backword tracks and track parameters with Kalman filter V_z = ~40 micron, including backword tracks and track parameters with straight line usingvertex detector 3d information

---> Ian and Partic will compare the track parameters between Kalman and line

secondary vertex resolution Ds decay vertex resolution is at least twice worse than LoI ---> Olivier will make a detailed study

2) kinematical fit "official" reoutine has very low efficiency and does not always give back the best vlaue. A fit routine made by Juan for two particles works better. ---> Juan will extend his routine to deal with up to 3 particles including vertex refit with the improved momenta

Tau physics by Ronan in progress.

tagging study no real progress

Bs oscillation measurement with the amplitude method indicates a rough agreement with the likelifood method used in LoI.
