General Information

INSTR99 is organized by High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) and will be held at Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan, in November 15-19, 1999. This is the seventh in a series of conferences which have been held in Novosibirsk and SLAC since 1977. The purpose of the conference is to report and discuss advances in instrumentation for collider experiments. This first bulletin is intended to give basic information about the organization and the location of the conference, as well as to extend an invitation for pre-registration. Further information such as program and accommodation will be included in Second Bulletin which will be sent in April, 1999 to those who sent us pre-registration from.
