Research Associate in High Energy Physics
Applications are invited for a new PPARC-funded postdoctoral research
associateship in high energy physics to work on CP violation in the B
system through the LHCb experiment at CERN.  The successful candidate
will have the opportunity to develop the RICH particle identification
detectors, together with the associated high level trigger designs,
software and physics performance studies.
The post is available from 1st October 1999 and will be for a period of
three years. The successful candidate will have submitted a PhD thesis
in experimental particle physics before taking up appointment.
Starting salary is in the range 15,735 pounds to 18,275 pounds per annum
(under review).
