Dear LHCb Colleagues,
Following the approval of the LHCb magnet TDR by the Research Board
last week, the LHCb Resource Review Board today has agreed the
collaboration to go ahead with calling for tender and to make commitment
for the construction of the magnet. This is a very important step for
the experiment.
I am very pleased to add that the status of the experiment was well
appreciated by the board.
