lhcb-cb Speakers Bureau: Second Call for Speakers.From: CommentsDear Colleagues, I would like to thank the following institutes for their response to the recent request for lists of possible speakers for future talks, and talks already given. These are : Oxford, Edinburgh, Lausanne, Glasgow, Virginia, Bologna, Cambridge and Heidelberg and all Dutch institutes. Apologies to any whose email I may have missed. Unfortunately, the remainder have yet to reply. Hence, I would like to ask you again for: (a) A list of possible speakers from within your Group/Institute who would be interested in giving an LHCb talk. It would also be useful if you could add a list of current areas of expertise beside each name. eg. physics simulation, vertex detector, calorimetry etc. (b) A list of talks and speakers ALREADY given by members of your Group/Institute in the last couple of years. We have already started allocating talks for this year's conferences, and hence unless a reply is received from your institute, it is unlikely to be given a talk. Your help in this matter is welcomed.
