1. Tapes (J.Closier) (ppt)
- Tapes is a perl script interface to TMS, accessible to any user to book, free,
scan or modify redwood cartridges or DLT.
- runs on UNIX : > tapes and reply to questions.
- Tapes librarians : J.Closier, A. Jacholkowska, F.Loverre, M.Marin
- Tapes naming convention : group-size-institute (z525cern, z550mc)
- A user can book 2 Z525 (25Gb) and 1 Z550 (50Gb) cartridges

reorganize the AFS projetc space.
- tapes is used by ALEPH, ATLAS and LHCb, we should decide with ATLAS
which group wil maintain it: Joel can do the maintanance for ALEPH and LHCb.
- instead of porting tapes to NT it would be interesting to make a Web interface.
2. /afs/cern.ch/lhcb/software access list (J.Closier)
This space $LHCBHOME/software is protected by an access list for the
group z5 software (binko, cattaneb, ijlast, rado, ranjard)
