The distributions shown in these plots were created using PYTHIA8 and CTEQ6 NLO, including the following processes weighted according to their cross-sections:
  • qq → bb;    gg → bb;    qq → bbg (where q ≠ b);    bb → bbg;    gg → bbg
All five flavors (u,d,s,c,b) are considered in the PDFs. The total combined cross-sections given by PYTHIA are:
  • 251.8 μb at 7 TeV;    291.6 μb at 8 TeV;    527.3 μb at 14 TeV.
