RT-PCR test
All travellers must be able to provide a negative RT-PCR test conducted a maximum of 72 hours before their departure at the time.

Arriving in Switzerland
by plane from countries concerned by specific restrictions (even if staying in France)
Members of the personnel coming to Switzerland from countries concerned by restrictions for stays of less than three months without a permit or visa are therefore advised to obtain a laissez-passer document from their local Swiss embassy or consulate in order to facilitate their trip.

If you are staying in France
You will have to fill the “Attestation de déplacement dérogatoire” and “déclaration sur l’honneur ”. These documents can be found on the French Ministry of the Interior’s website.
You must print/download the Justification for Professional Travel (justificatif de déplacement professionnel) during curfew or confinement times in France and keep it with you in case of controls during your professional trips.
Access to CERN sites
o    All members of personnel need authorization of their respective hierarchy to access the site.
o    Employed Members of Personnel as well as students, trainees, etc. shall come onto CERN sites only upon request of their supervisor and in accordance with instructions provided by the supervisor.
o    Users shall come into the site only on request of the Experiment Spokespersons or Technical Coordinators and in agreement with their Home Institutions.

Proximeter
Please arrange to collect your Proximeter as soon as possible, and remember, it becomes mandatory while on-site at CERN from 1 March. You can book an appointment to collect your proximeter.

Personal protective equipment for COVID-19
You can find PPE : Meyin site in the room 2/1-034 and at Point 8 in the corridor the building 3894 or in the control room.


Quarantine
People arriving from a country or area that is considered by the Host States (France or Switzerland) to be high risk for COVID-19 are required to quarantine for ten days following their arrival in the local area. The quarantine may be reduced to seven days on presentation of a negative RT-PCR test conducted after seven days of quarantine.

Printers, water fountains and meeting rooms
o   Printers in common areas can be used, please ensure to wipe down any equipment after use with the disinfectant and wipes that have been made available. 2-1065-CANC3 and 2-R026-HP4050
o   Water fountains can be used, please ensure to wipe down the fountains after use.
o    LHCb meeting rooms remain closed until further notice.
